I'm glad you're going back to school

Hey hon, teachers don't automatically know when you're struggling in school- raise your hand and ask for help! Do they know you're dyslexic? You might be able to get a tutor or someone to help you out

And hey, everyone gets made fun of- the popular girls, the geniuses, the rich people, the artists, the dorks... And really, if it's not that mean, most of the time you just gotta let those comments roll off your back It doesn't mean anything anyways. As long as you have friends what does the opinion of some random girl matter anyhow! If they get to be downright hateful, tell the counselor You'll make it. Online classes sound like a good idea for you

Here what my mother said.

Her problems with school are complicated. She has learning disabilities that I couldn't get the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) to test for therefore she didn't get the supports she needed to stay in school. And therefore she didn't learn to believe in herself. You would not believe how much her reading and writing has improved since joining DA.
